Divino Nino - Coffee Beans.
Farm: Divino Nino, Suaza, Huila, Colombia
Variety: Castillo, Caturra
Processing: Washed
Altitude: 1300-1750 masl
Tasting Notes: Blackcurrent & Caramel
Roast: Espresso and Filter
We're thrilled to work with Newground as a guest roaster for this season coffee. Newground is based in Oxford and share our values of excellence and social responsability. When Bertrand first visited Newground team in Oxford he was shocked by the quality and cleanliness of their coffees.
This coffee was sourced in collaboration with Osito Coffee. They've been working with the group colloquially known as "Divino Nino" in Suaza. Over these 3+ years, this group has grown from 25 producters to over 50.
Osito Founded its one and only annual cup competition with Divino Nino called the Copa Suacena. It is through this competition they have found many great single farm micro-lots and zero in on high potential producers.
The resulting cup here is very juicy and delivers the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness.
